PNP chief Dionardo Carlos ordered a revamp in the police force, affecting three police generals, with about two weeks left before he reaches the retirement age of 56.

The revamp was ordered by Carlos last Friday and took effect last Saturday.

Carlos will reach the retirement age of 56 on May 8, or about six months after assuming command of the PNP on November 12 last year.

One of the officials affected by the revamp is PNP Logistics Support Service director Brig. Gen. Mario Reyes, who is now the new director of the Bicol regional police office, vice Brig. Gen. Jonnel Estomo.

Estomo was named the new PNP deputy director for logistics.

Estomono replaced Brig. Gen. Lorenzo Detran, who succeeded Reyes as the PNP Logistics Support Service director.

Reyes and Estomo are members of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) class of 1992 while Detran is from the PMA class 1990.
