ACTOR Piolo Pascual has had a reliable partner for more than ten years.
At a press con on Saturday at Sofitel Manila’s Mindanao Ballroom, the actor confessed that he has been getting the products of Sun Life for ten years and he has already lost count of how many plans he has.
“Basta every year kumukuha ako,” he said. “Kasi one is not enough. That’s what I advise my friends in ‘ASAP.’”
Piolo, known as a wise spender who is generous to friends and family, also revealed that he so trusts Sun that he got his family, including son Iñigo and mom Amelia, plans.
Now that he seems to have secured his future, does he think it’s time to settle down?
“You don’t plan for that,” said the 45-year-old actor, “Pag dumating, yun na ‘yun. It’s hard to set a criteria. That will only happen when you see that person and you go from there.
Hindi kasi ako naghahanap. When it’s time for me to settle down, I wouldn’t have to be criteria, because at the end of the day, it’s about the heart. It’s someone that complements you. Hindi hinahanap. Dumarating lang.
“I believe in destiny. It’s fate. I believe it’s something that’s electrifying. When that person comes, that person will be my ideal partner.”
Piolo believes that life is always brighter when we have a partner who will be there for us through ups and downs. This is the inspiration behind Sun Life Philippines’ latest campaign depicted in a fun and vibrant music video featuring Sun Life brand ambassador Piolo Pascual, set against singer-songwriter Johnoy Danao’s song “Bright Like the Sun” in the background. Danao’s composition perfectly captures the special bonds in our lives, while exuding hope and optimism for the future having experienced the pandemic.
To further inspire Filipinos, the campaign will also feature a host of activities, including a Tiktok promo where they only need to stitch Piolo’s video with a candid moment featuring the people they consider their partners to the tune of Johnoy’s “Bright Like the Sun.”
