PioIo, Matteo, Sarah play financial planning game

Sun Life Philippines successfully launched its new game, Play for Life: A Game of Choices, at a star-studded media conference held last Saturday, July 6 at Conrad Manila. The event was attended by Sun Life brand ambassadors Piolo Pascual, Matteo Guidicelli, and Sarah Geronimo, who shared their insights on the importance of making informed decisions for a brighter future.

The highlight of the event was the official launch of the online version of Play for Life. Now live on the Sun Life website, this free, single-player game allows Filipinos to experience real-life financial scenarios through engaging gameplay. As players make crucial financial decisions to achieve their chosen life goals, they learn valuable lessons while having fun. A multi-player version of Play for Life: A Game of Choices is also set to launch soon.

Sun Life created tabletop versions of Play for Life for OFWs, business owners, and professionals, offering a fun and social way to learn financial literacy concepts tailored to their needs.

Adding to the excitement, Sun Life also unveiled a new digital video commercial featuring its brand ambassadors, Donny Pangilinan, Piolo Pascual, Matteo Guidicelli, and Sarah Geronimo playing the board game version of Play for Life: A Game of Choices. The video showcases the fun and engaging nature of the game, while highlighting the importance of Sun Life products and solutions in achieving financial goals.

Experience a life-size version of Play for Life at SM Sta. Rosa (July 27-28), SM Lanang in Davao (August 24-25), and SM Iloilo (September 14-15). Tabletop board game versions will also be available to play with friends, family, and Sun Life financial advisors.

Sun Life clients can win prizes such as a P100,000 travel voucher to Japan and Giftaway vouchers worth up to P10,000 by participating in the Play for Life game. They can join via mall activations or the online game and submit an entry form. Winners will be selected through an electronic randomizer. The promo is running until October 31, 2024.
