PhilJobNet bares 20K job vacancies

AMID the growing number of displaced workers, the Department OF Labor and Employment on Monday said there are 20,000 job vacancies available to job seekers.

In its Facebook page, PhilJobNet, the official portal of the labor department, said “more than 20,000 jobs are available at www.PhilJobNet.gov.ph”

Topping the list of job vacancies are call center agents with 1,539, followed by customer relations officers (297), tile setters (180), telecommunications specialists (90), customer service assistants (65), building construction laborers (60), billing/collection officers (60), administrative clerks (60), sales officers (50), and logistics officers (50).

Other jobs with several vacancies are personnel clerks (50), telecommunications technicians (30), maintenance technicians (29), accounting officers (25), wholesale trade salesmen (20), construction laborers (20), van drivers (20), salesmen (16), scaffolders (15), and delivery men (15).

PhilJobnet is a facility that aims to fast track the job seeker’s search for jobs and the employer’s search for workforce.

Its database is maintained by the Bureau of Local Employment and is free of charge for both job applicants and establishments.

A job seeker who is at least 15 years old may register as a job applicant PhilJobNet.

An employer or establishment duly recognized by Philippine business authorizing agencies and with existing tax identification number can also register at PhilJobNet.
