THE Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease (IATF) has approved the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) vaccination certificates of Bulgaria, Iran and Panama, bringing to 75 the list of countries with accepted vaccination documents.
The IATF, in issuing Resolution 164-E, allowed the use of the vaccine certificates “for purposes of arrival quarantine protocols, as well as for interzonal/intrazonal movement.”
The IATF has previously directed the Bureau of Quarantine, the Department of Transportation – One-Stop-Shop and the Bureau of Immigration to recognize only the proofs of vaccination that have been approved by the COVID-19 policy group.
The Philippines has so far recognized the vaccination certificates of Albania, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belgium, Brazil, British Virgin Islands, Brunei Darussalam, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Ecuador, Egypt, Estonia, France, Georgia, and Germany.
The vaccination documents of Greece, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Monaco, Myanmar, New Zealand, Nepal, Oman, Palau, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Samoa, Singapore, Slovenia, South Korea, and Spain have also been approved by the IATF.
