PRESIDENT Marcos Jr. yesterday wished his mother, former First Lady Imelda Marcos, “more years filled with joy, good health, and abundant blessings” on her 94th birthday.
The President took to social media to express his greeting while First Lady Liza Marcos shared on Facebook a photo of the First Family with the Marcos matriarch and other family members, including presidential sisters Irene Marcos Araneta and Aimee Marcos Bernedo.
Sen. Imee Marcos was not in the photo of the birthday celebration which was reportedly held at the Kalayaan Hall.
Also in the photo were Marcos’ son, Ilocos Norte Gov. Matthew Manotoc and wife Cara, Marcos-Araneta’s son Luis and wife Xandra Rocha, and presidential sons Joseph Simon and William Vincent.
“Happy 94th birthday, Mama Meldy,” the photo caption read.
The former First Lady underwent angioplasty last month.
