A 51-year-old Filipino bound for Seoul, South Korea with a pending estafa case was arrested by the Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group (PNP-ASG) and the Bureau of Immigration (BI) last October 18 at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3.
Immigration officers discovered that the female resident of Taguig City had a pending warrant of arrest for violating BP 22, commonly known as the Bouncing Check Law, issued on January 19, 2018, with a recommended bail of P2,000.
The woman is under the custody of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Quezon City for documentation and further legal action.
