P81M shabu recovered; 2 suspects fall

POLICE seized around 12 kilos of suspected shabu with a street value of P81 million in buy-bust operations in Pasay and Parañaque and nabbed two suspected pushers.

Combined operatives of the Pasay City Police, Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-National Capital Region conducted an anti-illegal drug operation on Apelo Cruz St. in Malibay, Pasay City, in front of a bus terminal at about 8:30 p.m. and arrested Mia Bianca Atendido, 22, and Dave Tajores, 21.

Seized from them were P68 million worth of suspected shabu weighing around 10 kilos.

Authorities also recovered a travelling black bag and the P800,000 used as buy-bust money.

A radio report said police also seized P13.6 million worth of suspected shabu weighing around two kilos in a condominium unit in Parañaque City.

During the operation, apprehending officers nabbed a 21-year-old woman who was not identified.

Meanwhile, 15 persons, including four minors, were arrested in anti-drug operations in Mandaluyong, Pasig and Marikina. Police recovered over P130,000 worth of suspected shabu.

Brig. Gen. Johnson Almazan, Eastern Police District director, identified those arrested as: Michael Villanueva, 35; Robert Alvarez, 24; an alias Rob, 18; Jonathan Cortez, 35; Amado Dellomas, 31; Freddie Cruz, 29; Aris Babon, 29; Rodolfo Sason, 42; Ronnie Sarmiento, 30; Herminio Paulino, 35; John Paul Gayo, 19; a 17-year-old boy, a 16-year-old boy, and a boy and a girl aged 15.
