POLICE arrested two suspected drug pushers and seized a kilo of shabu with a street value of P6.9 million in Naga City, Camarines Sur.

Brig. Gen. Jonnel Estomo, director of the Bicol regional police office, identified the suspects as Hiroji Tesorero, 39, of Naga City; and Floiland Teves, 41, of Manalapan town, also in Camarines Sur.

The two were nabbed at around 5:15 a.m. last Friday after selling 100 grams of shabu to a poseur buyer on C-15 road in Barangay Mabolo, Naga City.

Police recovered from them an additional 900 grams, bringing to 1,000 grams or kilo the quantity of shabu seized, and the buy-bust money.

Police said Tesorero is also serving as “bodegero” or stockkeeper of Bicol-based drug syndicates responsible for the proliferation of shabu in Camarines Sur and Albay. These drug syndicates are reportedly getting their illegal drugs in Metro Manila.

In Cebu City, policemen arrested another suspected drug pusher, Randy Cruda Aranduque, 39, during a buy-bust operation at his residence in Villa Zacate in Barangay Basak Pardo last Sunday.

The suspect, who police said is a “high-value target” in the war against drugs in Central Visayas, yielded 150 grams of shabu, worth P1.02 million, the buy-bust money and a body bag.
