POLICE and military personnel raided a marijuana plantation in Cebu City last Saturday and burned P6.33 million worth of marijuana, the PNP reported yesterday.
No cultivator was arrested during the raid but authorities are closely monitoring a suspect, reports reaching the PNP headquarters at Camp Crame, Quezon City said.
Cebu City police personnel and forces from the Naval Forces Central in Barangay Adlaon swooped down at the plantation in the mountainous Barangay Adlaon and found 15,840 stalks of marijuana.

PNP chief Gen. Dionardo Carlos lauded the troops involved in the latest accomplishment in the campaign against illegal drugs.
