SEN. Raffy Tulfo on Monday night offered a P1 million reward for information that will lead to the arrest of the suspect who killed a 21-year-old man and raped his 17-year-old girlfriend who were out camping in Boac, Marinduque last week.
“The man who did this heinous crime has no conscience. That’s why I am offering a P1 million bounty for the arrest of the suspect as long as I am sure that he is the one who committed the crime so he can be brought to justice,” Tulfo said.
Reports said the couple went out camping last Friday in Barangay Ihatub in Boac town, where a lone suspect attacked them at around 2 a.m.
The girlfriend said the suspect barged into their tent and repeatedly stabbed his boyfriend. She tried to escape but the suspect caught up with her, raped and then stabbed her.
The suspect fled with their cellphones and money.
Tulfo said any information on the suspect can be relayed to his office at the Senate.
