PDEA spokesman Derrick Carreon said the drugs, placed in a baggage, arrived in the country last December 26 from Addis Ababa in Ethiopia on board Ethiopian Airlines flight ET 644F.

Carreon said the baggage is owned by a female passenger who was denied entry to the Philippines a couple of days earlier. She was not identified.

“Said baggage belonged to a passenger who was excluded and denied entry in the Philippines upon her arrival on Dec 24, 2022. (The) baggage arrived in the Philippines on Dec. 26, 2022,” said Carreon.
