OPERATIVES of the Southern Police District seized P181,560 worth of suspected shabu and arrested three pushers in a buy-bust operation in Taguig City on Saturday night.
Police identified the three Cecil Ross Guiwan Carpio, Clifford Santos Ibanez Santos, and Jessie Velasco Darag. Seized from them were 26.70 grams of suspected shabu, a weighing scale, P300 buy-bust money, and three cellphones.
The three were nabbed in an operation at Gen. Santos Ave., Lower Bicutan.
Two men were arrested in Marikina for violating the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) and for possession of suspected drugs.
Col. Restituto Arcangel, local police chief, identified them as Jhay Rosme, 27; and Randel Rendado. Recovered from them was suspected shabu worth ₱680.
Rosme was arrested at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday for not wearing a face mask in his neighborhood while Rendado was nabbed at 11 p.m. for not wearing a helmet while driving a motorcycle. They yielded packets of shabu when searched. — Noel Talacay and Christian Oineza
