P17M shabu seized; 4 pushers fall

FOUR suspected pushers were arrested and 2.5 kilos of suspected shabu worth P17 million were seized by authorities in separate operations in Makati City and Quezon City on Wednesday.

One of the suspects was identified as Asrainie Bolao, according to Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency spokesman Derrick Carreon.

Carreon said Bolao was nabbed in a buy-bust operation conducted by PDEA operatives and personnel from the Intelligence Service of the AFP and Makati City police at around 5:30 p.m. in Pio Del Pilar, Makati City.

Seized from her were two kilos of suspected shabu worth P13.6 million.

The three others — Carlos Tuazon, alias Kuya; Melvin Almario; Cedric Pe, alias Decdec, residents of Makati City — were arrested in another operation in Novaliches, Quezon City.

Quezon City Police District operatives nabbed Tuazon, Almario, and Pe at around 8 a.m.

Wednesday in a buy-bust operation at a gas station in Barangay san Bartome.

QCPD director Brig. Gen. Ronnie Montejo said the three are behind the proliferation of illegal drugs in the Novaliches area.

Seized from them was half-a-kilo of suspected shabu worth P3.4 million, three cellphones and their Toyota car.
