THREE suspected drug pushers were arrested and 24 kilos of shabu worth P163.2 million were seized in separate operations conducted by a team led by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Paranaque City on Monday.
Nabbed were Mangie Sotolombo, Carlos Vallente and Marivic Aswilo Mabascog. PDEA officials said the three were pushing drugs that came from the international Golden Triangle drug syndicate.
Sotolombo and Vallente were arrested were in a buy-bust operation on Pacific Ave. in Barangay Tambo, Parañaque City at around 3:30 p.m., according to PDEA spokesman Derrick Carreon.
The operation was conducted by PDEA operatives and supported by policemen and personnel from the Intelligence Service of the AFP.
The suspects yielded 20 kilos of shabu, worth P136 million, said Carreon.
Thirty minutes later, the same unit arrested Mabascog along the same avenue in another buy-bust operation.
Carreon said the team seized from Mabascog four kilos of shabu worth P27.2 million.
