PHILIPPINE Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and PNP operatives arrested a female drug dealer and seized two kilos of suspected shabu worth P13.6 million in Valenzuela City.
The suspect was identified as Napisa Bora Mimbalawag, 40, a native of Lumba-Bayabao town in Lanao del Sur.
Mimbalawag was nabbed last Friday after selling a kilo of shabu worth P6.8 million to an undercover agent in front of the JINYI Import and Export Trading Co. Inc. on Mindanao Ave., Barangay Ugong.
Authorities also seized another kilo of shabu, a cellphone, a postal identification card, a driver’s license, the buy-bust money, and a Toyota Avanza vehicle.
In Quezon, PNP and PDEA operatives arrested what they claimed was a drug dealer in Lucena City early morning yesterday.
The suspect, identified as Khristian Joy Medina, alias Tiga, yielded 135 kilos of suspected shabu worth P918,000, the Quezon provincial police office said.
Medina was nabbed in a similar buy-bust operation in Barangay Ibabang Iyam, Lucena City
Mimbalawag and Medina are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, specifically for the sale and possession of illegal drugs.
Police seized P250,580 worth of suspected dangerous drugs and arrested two persons in a buy-bust operation in San Mateo, Rizal last Saturday morning.
Col. Rainerio De Chavez, Rizal PPO director, identified the two as Roy Mark Delos Angeles, alias Roy, and Lotis Pascua, alias Lotis, residents of Batasan Hills, Quezon City.
Seize from them were 14 sachets containing more or less 36.85 grams of suspected shabu.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila Council President and San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora said he wants all cities in Metro Manila to become 100 percent drug-clear.
Zamora, also the chairperson of Metro Manila Regional Peace and Order Council, said all barangays in San Juan are now drug-free. — With Christian Oineza
