THE Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) yesterday said it is ready to bring home the overseas Filipino worker (OFW) whose children were attacked by their father in Parang, Maguindanao del Norte.

In a statement, OWWA said it is ready to provide necessary assistance to the mother of Asrap, 9, and Bai, 14, including her immediate repatriation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

“Our office in Jeddah is ready to help our dear OFW when the time comes that she would want to come home to the Philippines,” said OWWA.

Aside from her repatriation, the agency said it is also prepared to provide other forms of assistance to the OFW as well as her family in the Philippines.

“We immediately provided preliminary assistance to the relatives of the victims,” said OWWA.

Last Sunday, Adjis Sanday Ayob reportedly stabbed his son to death and wounded her daughter in their home in Barangay Magsaysay.

Asrap died while Bai was undergoing treatment for her wounds at a local hospital.

Ayob is detained at the Parang Municipal Police Station.
