OVER 72,000 job opportunities are set to be offered during the simultaneous “Kalayaan” job fairs across the country to be held by the Department of Labor and Employment.
According to the Bureau of Local Employment (BLE), over 72,000 job openings have been committed by nearly 900 participating establishments.
“As of 06 June 2023, there are 72,023 vacancies from 889 participating employers that will be available for job seekers,” said the BLE.
The BLE said the number of vacancies is expected to increase in the coming days with the event less than a week away.
The BLE said the top industries offering job opportunities are business process outsourcing, manufacturing, retail and sales, construction, and financial and insurance activities.
On the other hand, the top employment positions offered are customer service representative, production worker/operator, sales clerk, cashier, laborer, lineman, financial consultant/advisor, and microfinance officer.
