THE Supreme Court (SC) yesterday announced that 12,186 law graduates have applied to take the 2024 Bar examinations, which will be held on September 8, 11, and 15 this year.
Associate Justice and 2024 Bar chairperson Mario Lopez said the applicants have paid the P12,800 application fee.
Lopez said the lists of unconditionally approved, conditionally approved, and denied applicants will be released in batches.
“All applicants are advised to regularly check their respective Bar Applicant Registration Information System and Tech Assistance or BARISTA accounts to know the status of their application,” the magistrate said.
Lopez said the High Court is finalizing the list of local testing centers in the cities of Manila, Muntinlupa, Pasay, Quezon, Taguig, Baguio, Naga, Cebu, Iloilo, Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro and Davao.
Last year, 10,387 applicants took the Bar exams.
