Going strong for 20 years in the music industry, award-winning composer and record producer Jonathan Manalo celebrates his legacy with an epic one-night concert “Mr. Music: The Hits of Jonathan Manalo”. The brightest OPM stars align in this big bang of a music event, performing his most memorable hits at the Newport Performing Arts Theater on October 15, 8 p.m.
Known as “Mr. Music,” Manalo is the prolific mastermind behind the popular tracks of several platinum-selling artists across genres and generations. Joining him to celebrate his life’s work is an all-star lineup including Angeline Quinto, Moira Dela Torre, Yeng Constantino, KZ Tandingan, Erik Santos, Kyla, Janine Berdin, Zephanie Dimaranan, BINI, and BGYO, to name a few. A special performance from Gary Valenciano is set to make this a pure energy concert experience. This one-night grand spectacle is co-produced with ABS-CBN events.
Running a two-decade discography, Manalo has a string of more than 400 recordings. Some of his notable tracks are “Pinoy Big Brother’s” theme “Pinoy Ako,” Angeline Quinto’s “Patuloy ang Pangarap”, Gary Valenciano’s “Ililigtas Ka Niya,” Piolo Pascual and Sarah Geronimo’s “Paano Ba ang Magmahal”, and Itchyworms’ “Kabataang Pinoy.”
