OCTA Research: Marcos ratings up; VP Duterte’s down

PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. obtained the highest trust and satisfaction ratings among the top officials of government in the July 12 to 17 Tugon ng Masa survey of OCTA Research.

The survey, which involved 1,200 adult respondents nationwide and had a margin of error of ±3 percent, showed Marcos scoring a 64 percent trust rating, up from 60 percent in April, and a 62 percent satisfaction rating, up from 59 percent.

Vice President Sara Duterte scored 54 percent in trust, down from her previous 58 percent; and 50 percent in satisfaction, down from 56 percent.

Senate President Francis Escudero garnered a trust rating of 51 percent, down from 55 percent; and a 49 percent satisfaction rating, down from 53 percent.

House Speaker Martin Romualdez’s trust rating improved to 57 percent from 54 percent, while his satisfaction rating rose to 59 percent from 55 percent.
