New parents Markus Patterson and Janella Salvador are concentrating on their newborn, Jude.
Janella told MJ Felipe on “TV Patrol” that she and Markus are not rushing into marriage.
“Wala pa, hindi pa kami nagmamadali about that. For now, ‘yung focus namin is to raise Jude muna.”
Janella and Markus’ firstborn, Jude Trevor Salvador Patterson, was born via normal delivery on October 20,2020 in the United Kingdom.
On the issue that she hid her pregnancy, Janella explained: “I wasn’t hiding it for selfish reasons. I wanted to hide it because I wanted to cherish the moment in my life, na first time ko maging mom. Iyong wala munang ingay, ‘yung may sarili muna akong moment to enjoy it. It was really hard. I was getting comments na, ‘Kinahihiya mo ba? Hindi ka ba proud?’ I don’t think any mom would want to hide his or her baby.”
She also expressed concern over contracting COVID-19.
“I was so praning with the people na nakakausap ko kasi, siyempre I won’t let it pass it on to my baby. Thank God hindi kami nagka-COVID, we were safe but it was scary.” (Reggee Bonoan)
