No new COVID cases in PNP for the 4th time

FOR the fourth time this year, the PNP reported zero case of new COVID-19 infection in its ranks.

Data from the PNP national headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City also showed the number of active COVID-19 cases declining to just five, with the recovery of three infected personnel.

Since 2020, the PNP has registered 48,836 COVID cases among its personnel, broken down into 48,703 recovered and 128 dead, while five are active cases.

The PNP recorded zero cases on March 6, 7, and 13.

It reported a high of 548 daily cases on January 14 during a surge of COVID-19 cases in the country caused by the Omicron variant.

Since March 6 when the PNP reported for the first time this year a zero daily case, only 14 police personnel contracted the disease.
