“We wish him good luck in his future endeavors,” the network’s statement read.

Some netizens were quick to conclude that Revillame will bring his show to the Advanced Media Broadcasting System, Inc., a firm owned by his friend, former Senator Manny Villar.

Recently, it was reported that the National Telecommunications Commission has authorized the Villar-backed company to operate Channels 2 and 16 that were previously assigned to ABS-CBN. Aliw Broadcasting Corp. and Sonshine Media Network Inc. have also been allowed to use the other frequencies previously operated by the Kapamilya Network.
