OPERATIVES of the Philippine Enforcement Agency arrested a Nigerian and three Filipinos for peddling 2.5 kilos of suspected shabu worth P17 million in separate operations in Cavite, Taguig City and Makati City.
PDEA spokesman Derrick Carreon identified the Nigerian as Ifeanyi Ukoji, 36, a resident of Barangay Mambog III, Bacoor City, Cavite.
Carreon sid Ukoji was nabbed at around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in a buy-bust operation at the parking lot of a fast food store on Molino Boulevard in Barangay Talaba IV, Bacoor City.
Seized from him was a kilo of suspected shabu worth P6.8 million and the buy-bust money.
Another suspected pusher, Maria Salvation Medino, was arrested in a buy-bust operation at the parking lot of a grocery store in FTI, Barangay Western Taguig in Taguig City at around 8:20 p.m, on Wednesday.
Carreon said Medino was nabbed as soon as she sold a kilo of suspected shabu, worth P6.8 million, to a poseur-buyer.
Carreon identified the two others arrested as Tristan Jay Ocfemia and Oliver Rogelio Benitez. They were nabbed at the parking lot of another fast food store in Barangay Tejeros, Makati at around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday after they handed 500 grams of suspected shabu to a PDEA agent who posed as a buyer.
Four men were arrested in anti-drug operations in Pasig and Mandaluyong, with over 20,000 worth of suspected shabu seized. — With Christian Oineza
