CLOSE to 5,000 jobs as production workers need to be filled up, according to the Bureau of Local Employment (BLE).
Based on BLE data from BLE, the top job vacancy from July 12 to 18 was production workers. A total of 4,969 vacancies for production workers are registered with the BLE.
This is followed by the high demand for 3,909 call center agents and 3,255 job vacancies for production machine operators.
The BLE said customer service assistants are also in demand with 2,363 job vacancies.
Completing the top five are demands for staff nurses with 2,055 vacancies.
The BLE said the data is based on the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Employment Information System (PEIS) sourced nationwide.
