A YEAR-END opening?

NCAA Management Committee chairman Fr. Vic Calvo, OP, of host Letran said the league is not ruling out the possibility of kicking off its 96th season late this year but stressed the safety and health of the athletes, officials, and fans remain as top priorities.

With the lingering health perils and uncertainties posed by the deadly COVID-19 pandemic, Calvo added the Policy Board, made up of school presidents and owners of the 10-member league, will have the final say on the matter.
