FORMER senator Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino has gained another endorsement for his bid to return to the Senate in the May 12 elections, this time from Zambales Gov. Hermogenes Ebdane Jr.
“You deserve it,” Ebdane said as he met with Aquino in Zambales where the former senator held a dialogue with local officials.
Aquino thanked Ebdane for the support as he vowed to prioritize the crafting of measures for infrastructures needed in the province.
Even though his home province is Tarlac, Aquino said he wants to be Zambales’ voice in the Senate.
“We had (Ramon) Jun Magsaysay before, the Gordons before, ngayon po walang magre-represent sa Zambales. Kami naman, literally kapitbahay lang po sa Tarlac, kaya we can really focus on the different areas po rito. So, rest assured po, nandito po kami para tumulong (We had Ramon Magsaysay before, the Gordons before, but now there is no one to represent Zambales. Being from Tarlac, which is literally a neighbor of Zambales, we can really focus on the different areas of this province. So, rest assured that we are here to help you [Zambales]),” he said.
