A woman was fished out of a river in Tanay, Rizal last Sunday morning, a victim of drowning.
Police identified the fatality as Froilyn Requellas, of legal age. She was brought to the Army Station Hospital in Camp Gen. Mateo Capinpin, Tanay, Rizal, but was declared dead on arrival.
Investigation showed that she and her relatives were swimming at the Daraitan River in Barangay Daraitan at around 6 a.m.

Her relatives eventually noticed that she was missing and saw her floating a few feet away.
They tried to revive her, to no avail.
