THE Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (RTWPB) – VI is surveying kasambahays and their employers as part of the ongoing wage review process in Western Visayas.
In a social media post, the Western Visayas wage board urged kasambahays and their employers to respond to the survey via bit.ly/rb6kasambahaysurvey.
“We urge kasambahays and employers to respond to our survey to know the exact conditions of their work and employment,” said the Western Visayas wage board.
It said the responses to the survey will be a factor in their ongoing wage review process.
“We will begin to determine the status of the salary increase in 2025 for our kasambahays in Western Visayas,” said the RTWPB-VI.
The survey comes ahead of the scheduled public hearing for kasambahays on October 8.
The public hearing to be conducted by the Western Visayas wage board is set at the Diamond Jubilee Hall in Mabini St., Iloilo City.
“We invite all kasambahays and their employers to attend and participate in the public hearing of the sector,” said the RTWPB-VI.
It said interested parties may register for the public hearing via email (rtwpb6@yahoo.com) or online (bit.ly/4nQlpu1).
“We want to hear from you! Let’s all work together,” said the Western Visayas wage board.
The last wage orders in Western Visayas took effect on November 17, 2024.
These set the minimum wage rates in Western Visayas to P480.00 to P513.00 (private sector workers), and P6,000.00 (domestic workers).
