THE Partido Trabaho at Wage Hike (Wage Hike) party-list group will no longer participate in the May 2025 national and local polls.

In a two-page order, the Comelec en banc approved the withdrawal of the group and ordered its removal from the official ballot template.

“Accordingly, the Commission (en banc) hereby grants the Urgent Motion to Withdraw the Manifestation of Intent to Participate in the Party-List System of Representation in the May 12, 2025 Elections filed by the petitioner through counsel,” said the Comelec.

It likewise directed the Comelec Law Department and the Information Technology Department (ITD) to “remove the name of the petitioner Partido Trabaho at Wage Hike (Wage Hike) from the official ballot.”

In its petition, the party-list group said the officers and members have decided to just focus on and pursue its programs rather than campaign for the forthcoming elections.

“Thus, during the meeting, the officers and members decided to withdraw the previously filed Manifestation of Intent to Participate in the Party-List System of Representation in the May 12, 2025 Elections,” it said.

It, however, hinted it would still participate in the party-list race in future elections.

With the withdrawal of Wage Hike party-list group, the number of organizations participating in the party-list race next year is down to 155.
