Support network vs crimes against foreigners launched

THE Rizal provincial police office (PPO) yesterday launched the Community Assistance, Safety, and Support Network (CASSN) to protect the Filipino-Chinese community and other foreigners from crime.

Col. Felipe Maraggun, Rizal provincial police office (PPO) director, led the event at 9 a.m. at the Smile Taytay Sports Complex in Taytay, Rizal.

Also present was Major General Roderick Augustus B. Alba, director of the Directorate for Police Community Relations (TDPCR).

The program aims to not only protect the Filipino-Chinese community and other foreigners from crimes but also build a bridge of trust between them and the local police departments and other law enforcers.
