AN overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) was killed in a hit-and-run incident last June 11, according to the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA).
In a radio interview, OWWA Administrator Patricia Yvonne Caunan said that Juljirri Aggong was found dead four days after he was reported missing.
“He was a victim of a hit-and-run by a car, and that caused fatal injuries,” said Caunan.
The official said the incident took place at the King Salman Eastbound Road in Riyadh.
She said the vehicle had been identified, along with its license plate and driver, and the Philippine government is trying to secure a copy of the CCTV footage.
Caunan said the government will pursue justice for Aggong.
