INDEPENDENT senatorial candidate Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino yesterday earned the support of Rizal Gov. Nina Ynarez and other local officials during a campaign sortie in the province.
Aquino thanked Ynarez, vice governor Junrey San Juan, city councilor LJ Sumulong, and other local officials for their support for his Senate comeback.
“Ang pangako natin, kapag binalik po ako ng Rizal sa Seando, itataas po natin ang pondo para sa libreng kolehiyo para mas maraming kabataan ang puwedeng makinabang (I assure you that if the people of the province of Rizal bring me back to the Senate, I will push for higher funds for free college education so that more youth can benefit from it),” Aquino said.
He said once the youth are provided with free college education, this will translate to more jobs for them.
Aquino also visited Baras town, also in Rizal province, where he held a motorcade with local officials headed by Rep. Dino Tanjuatco, vice governor San Juan, board member Hector Robles, and Baras vice mayor KC Robles.
