THE results of the 2024 Bar examinations will be out on December 13, the Supreme Court yesterday said.
In an advisory posted on the SC website, Associate Justice Mario V. Lopez, chair of the 2024 Bar examinations, said the names of the successful Bar examinees will be displayed on LED walls in its courtyard and will also be uploaded to its official website, and social media pages including X, Threads, Facebook, and Instagram.
“The livestream links with QR codes of the results via YouTube and Facebook will be shared through the Court’s official communication channels. The Court underscores that only notices and issuances published on its official website and verified social media accounts should be considered true and accurate,” the SC said.
It said those who wish to view the results in person are welcome as the SC gates will be open to the public from 12 noon to 6 p.m.
The SC, however, said that those who will come in person will be subjected to strict security inspection, and must wear the appropriate decent attire. Persons wearing footwear with open toes and heels, bottoms ripped or cut above the knee, and sleeveless, cropped, or see-through clothing will not be allowed to enter the SC compound.
The High Court also reminded that those who enter the compound during the announcement of the results who use official hashtags on social media must understand that they have given consent to the SC for them to be photographed, filmed, or recorded for use for its publicity materials, including the live stream of the results.
The oath-taking and roll-signing ceremonies for the successful Bar examinees (SBEs) will be on January 24, 2025.
“Before the ceremonies, the SBEs must complete the clearance procedures and pay the admission and certification fees within the designated period. Further announcements on the clearance procedures and detailed guidelines for the ceremonies will be released in due time,” the SC added.
A total of 10,483 law school graduates took this year’s Bar exams in various testing centers in the country, including University of Sto. Tomas and San Beda University. Of the number, 5,234 were new takers, 4,060 were previous examinees, and 1,189 were refreshers.
There were 155 senior citizens who took the Bar and 313 others with special needs. The youngest taker was 23 years old, the oldest was 78.
