THE Pasig government has distributed cash incentives worth P20,000 up to P30,000 to 628 students in the city who graduated with honors as recognition for their hard work in school.

The distribution was held at the Rizal High School Gymnasium last December 2, with 11 summa cum laude graduates receiving P30,000 each; 130 magna cum laude graduates receiving P25,000 each; and 487 cum laude graduates receiving P20,000 each.

Sotto said the incentives were given in recognition of the graduates’ hard work and achievements.

Jaworski also congratulated the graduates and said that giving cash gifts could inspire the youth to study more.

“In Pasig, we recognize and value their hard work and success because we believe they are the future of our community. We will continue to support the education and dreams of our youth,” Jaworski said.

Councilor Angelu De Leon said the honors received by the students are a testament to their perseverance and academic excellence.

The Pasig City Education Department-Scholarships and Awards Section oversees the processing and distribution of incentives for college graduates with honors under the Pasig City Scholarship Program.
