PASIG City mayoral candidate Sarah Discaya has vowed to put up modern school buildings in the city if she wins in the May 12 elections.

“It has long been part of my goal and advocacy to build modern schools that are truly dedicated to shaping the future of our children,” Discaya said, as she bared her vision for the Pasig Smart City School Complex for the city’s elementary to college students.

Discaya also outlined her plans to enhance the quality of education, including spacious and clean classrooms, a manageable student-to-teacher ratio, modern equipment and a focus on the overall development of every child.

In addition to education, Discaya likewise underscored the importance of technology in improving medical services in Pasig.

“We are all aware of the challenges many face in accessing medical services, long lines, insufficient supplies and slow processes. These are problems that need to be addressed,” she said.

As part of her Pasig Smart City plan, Discaya has proposed incorporating technology in public services to ensure their faster and efficient delivery.

Her plan includes digital queuing systems, electronic health records, teleconsultations for senior citizens and persons with disabilities, real-time monitoring for intensive care patients, and sufficient supply of medicines in health centers.
