THE Pasig government announced it will begin distribution of the Local Senior Pension (LSP) for January to June 2025 for its indigent senior citizens on July 1.
The Pasig public information office (PIO) announced on their Facebook page that the social pension came from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
The Pasig PIO said senior citizens should check with their respective barangays for their schedule in the manual payout from July 1-18 and advised those in the list to claim their pension on their scheduled date at their barangay.
The announcement, however, stated that not all senior citizens registered at OSCA are beneficiaries of the Social Pension of the DSWD.
