PHILIPPINE Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and PNP operatives uprooted and subsequently burned P8.4 million worth of marijuana plants in Tinglayan town in Kalinga.

Authorities swooped down at the marijuana plantation in Barangay Buscalan last Tuesday during a marijuana eradication campaign and completed the operation the following day.

“The marijuana plants were discovered in a single plot of land measuring approximately 2,800 square meters,” PDEA said.
