PHILIPPINE Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives seized over P21 million worth of shabu and marijuana in separate operations in Cavite, Lanao del Norte, Kalinga and Benguet recently.
Five alleged shabu dealers, including three women, were arrested in two of the operations, PDEA said.
In Cavite, PDEA operatives conducted a buy-bust operation at the parking lot of a mall in Barangay Molino IV in Bacoor City last Saturday afternoon, leading to the arrest of Samiha, Aisah, Alaisah, all women, and Kumar, a male.
Seized from them were 700 grams of shabu worth P4.7 million.
In Lanao del Sur, PDEA operatives also conducted a similar buy-bust operation in Barangay Sabala Manao Proper in Marawi City last Thursday.
Another alleged drug dealer, identified as one Orak, male, was arrested during the operation. Seized from him were 300 grams of shabu worth P2.04 million.
Last Wednesday, PDEA operatives raided a marijuana plantation in Barangay Butbut, Tinglayan town in Kalinga and uprooted 50,400 fully-grown marijuana plants worth P10.08 million.
