Seized from the suspects were four heat-sealed plastic bags containing the shabu, two plastic containers, and the buy-bust money.

The suspect is under the custody of the Zamboanga City police station while the illegal drugs are with the PNP Regional Forensic Unit 9 for further examination.

Zamboanga region police director Brig. Gen. Bowenn Joey Masauding commended the police and military personnel involved in the successful operation.

“This remarkable achievement highlights our unwavering commitment to combatting the proliferation of illegal drugs and protecting our community from their detrimental effects,” said Masauding.

“We remain steadfast in our collaboration with other law enforcement agencies and community partners, working tirelessly to ensure a safer environment for all,” added Masauding.
