A DIAMOND ring worth P1.3 million has been returned to a departing female passenger who left it in the sink in the comfort room at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 last Wednesday.
APD Col. Bing Jose said Shina Sevilla Aquino, a passenger of Zip Air flight bound for Narita, Japan, sought the help of airport police over the ring she left at the sink after washing her hands in the ladies’ comfort room.

Jose radioed airport policemen to gather information regarding the lost ring. A toilet cleaner told the policemen that she saw a Kuala Lumpur-bound passenger take the ring.
Cops and the toilet cleaner confronted the passenger, who returned the ring.
It was returned to Aquino before she left for Japan.
