THE Marikina government announced on Monday that the LGU will go digital to improve its services.
“We will embrace digitalization not just for convenience but as a strong stand against red tape and inefficiency,” Mayor Maan Teodoro said.
She said during yesterday’s flag-raising ceremony that she will continue and improve on the work of former Marikina mayor and now 1st district congressman Marcelino Teodoro.
She added that they will focus on fast and transparent service as well as accountability, on the environment and safety, especially during storms or heavy rainfalls.
“We know the need for flood control. We must focus on long-range plans and discipline,” she said.
The mayor added that they will improve health care and social welfare services for senior citizens as well as persons with disability (PWD).
