THE Marikina city government yesterday gave land titles to 32 members of two homeowners associations (HOA) in the city.
Mayor Maan Teodoro led the distribution of land titles to Sanchez HOA of Barangay Fortune, and Golden Malanday HOA of Brgy. Malanday.
Teodoro said the process of awarding land titles went as far back as the first term as mayor of her husband, Rep. Marcelino Teodoro.
She said the city government also gave financial assistance to the members of the two homeowners groups.
Teodoro said more local government projects such as installation of more streetlights in the two HOA areas will be carried out in the future.
The mayor added that the main goal of giving each Marikineo a home of his own is for both his heritage and the future of his family.
