THE Marikina government yesterday said it will push through with the digitalization of all local government unit transactions to ensure fast, clear and red tape-free operation.
Mayor Maan Teodoro stressed this during the flag-raising ceremony, adding it will include payment of fines and application for business permits.
“It is the objective of our government to ensure faster, clearer, and honest processing of documents, free from red tape and fixers,” Teodoro said, adding that everything will start at City Hall.
She said total digitalization won’t be done overnight, but they’ll pursue it one step at a time and will continue to do face-to-face client services.
