PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. yesterday expressed the hope that the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) would remain a partner of the government in good governance and in the implementation of various programs and projects that would help uplift the lives of Filipinos, especially those who are in need.
The President, in his message on the 111th anniversary of the INC, said the “good deeds” of the religious group over the past century have resulted in far-reaching changes in the country and contributed to promoting understanding, solidarity, and unity.
“As we celebrate your 111th Anniversary, may you remain a partner of our government in forging a strong and harmonious society,” Marcos said.
He urged them to continue helping those in need even while spreading the word of God and making His love and care felt by all, especially by those who are most in need.
