Vice President Sara Duterte continued to be the most trusted among the top officials in government, with 61 percent, which is almost unchanged from her 60 percent score in May. Her highest trust rating remains the 65 percent that she received in July 2024.
The Vice President’s distrust rating was unchanged at 23 percent.
The SWS survey also showed Senate President Francis Escudero scoring a majority trust rating of 55 percent, up from 47 percent in May, while his distrust rating fell to 23 percent from 28 percent.
Speaker Martin Romualdez scored the lowest trust rating at 34 percent (up from 26 percent), while his distrust rating dropped to 34 percent (from 43 percent).
Stratbase Group president Victor Andres “Dindo” Manhit said the significant increase in Marcos’ trust rating indicates “a possible renewed public confidence in his administration.”
It comes amid the “recalibration” initiated by the President, which he said is aimed at making the public feel the reforms and programs that his administration is implementing.
