MALACANANG yesterday said that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. would not be complacent and will continue to focus on his job and serve Filipinos amid the improvement in his trust ratings at 48 percent in June.
“Ang numero po ay hindi po magiging factor para sa Pangulo na magpakampante dahil kahit ano pa pong numero ang lumabas sa survey, tuloy-tuloy lang po ang ating Pangulo at ang administrasyon na ito na magsilbi at magtrabaho (The figures will not be a factor for the President to be complacent because regardless of the results of the survey, the President and his administration will continue to serve and work),” Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said.
Castro made the statement following a June 25 to 29 Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey that showed Marcos’ trust rating rising to 48 percent in June from 38 percent in May.
She said the survey results reflect the public’s appreciation and confidence in the President’s strong leadership and his administration, despite the political noise and attempts to discredit him.
She said it is also good that the public is able to recognize the administration’s initiatives and programs, which are aimed at improving the lives of Filipinos, despite the attacks, noise and attempts of obstructionists to discredit the President and his administration.
