President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will lead the distribution of 387 patient transport vehicles (PTVs) to different parts of Luzon today, Wednesday, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said.

Marcos, along with Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Melquiades Robles, will attend a simple ceremony at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila, from where the new ambulances will be distributed to seven regions in Luzon.

From July 2022 to June 2025, the PCSO has distributed 680 PTVs across all regions.

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said an additional 985 PTVs are scheduled for deployment within the year.

The PCSO has also allocated P1 billion to procure 395 more PTVs this year for distribution beginning next year to local government units (LGUs) upon their request.
