THE Mandaluyong government has awarded a cash gift of P100,000 to a grandmother in the city who recently celebrated her 102nd birthday.
Mayor Menchie Abalos personally went to the home of Maxima Ilumin in Mandaluyong City and awarded the cash gift.
According to the Mandaluyong Public Information Office, this is the third time Ilumin has received a cash gift from the city.
Under City Ordinance no. 973, s-2024, the birthday cash gift incentive rises from P10,000 to P100,000 for senior citizens of the city upon reaching the age of 101.
